Two Sisters Gallery artist Booth Malone

Although he received a BA in Design from Auburn University it was only after 10 years in the corporate world that Booth moved to Columbus, GA and struck out on his own to achieve his lifelong goal of being a professional artist.  There he began his career as a portrait artist proving himself capable of portraying adults and children as well as animals in a relaxed and natural style which has led to commissions from across the United States.  In addition to his commissioned works Booth is internationally known for his equestrian sport paintings and has captured scenes from Horse Racing, 3-Day Eventing, Polo, Foxhunting and Driving featuring some of the top riders and horses from around the world.  Closer to home he is also known for paintings of sportsmen, hounds, bird dogs and hunting scenes.

In addition to the sporting life Booth is a great fan of ballet and for a number of years has painted beautiful scenes of the backstage life of the ballet, capturing the athleticism and grace that combine to make great dancers.

In 2007 Booth was featured artist for the United States Masters of Foxhounds Association’s Centennial Exhibit as well as being that year’s Official Artist for the Breeders Cup at Churchill Downs. He has also been official artist for  the USET.  He is a Member of Merit of The Portrait Society of Atlanta and a member of the American Academy of Equine Artists as well as a Member of the Oil Painters of America.
